System administrators, IT personnel, and trainers learn a lot about MacPac while working with The Sackett Group, Inc. (TSG) on configuration, installation, and initial use of MacPac products. In addition to preliminary phone conversations about customizing MacPac for your organization, you have the opportunity to spend two days with your TSG project manager and another member of TSG when MacPac is installed. During that visit, TSG provides an administrative overview and train-the-trainer training in the use of the product. Your learning continues on the job, in phone and email conversations with your project manager, as you become more familiar with MacPac and seek answers to more complex questions.

MacPac Super User Training

Our Super User workshops enhance the speed and productivity of MacPac users who have had time to become familiar with the program. Some clients wait a year or more after installation to schedule Super User training.

This hands-on workshop teaches best practices of MacPac and MS Word, unearths little-known or under-utilized MacPac and MS Word features, presents tips and tricks, and addresses topics pertaining to the client’s document automation workflow and use of MacPac. Training is conducted at your office by a TSG project manager.

MacPac Help Desk Training

This hands-on workshop is designed specifically for MacPac help desk and support staff, and is conducted at your office by a TSG project manager. We often recommend waiting for a while after installation for the training, so that administrative and support staff know how MacPac is being used in their organization and where problems typically arise. By learning to address those problems efficiently, our Help Desk training increases the overall productivity of MacPac end users and administrators.

The workshop begins with a thorough review of all MacPac, Numbering, and Contact Integration components and their underlying structures. This review lays the groundwork for identifying the causes of an issue and the most effective techniques to resolve it. We apply those techniques to actual support tickets from your help desk, and we may even "break" parts of MacPac and have workshop participants troubleshoot and fix the problems.
