Client Partnerships

MacPac 9 Partnerships

The flexibility in MacPac’s component-based structure makes it possible for clients to adapt the program to their particular document templates, automation routines, and work environments. Our partnership programs, both for developers and non-developers, include substantial technical training and personalized support in making customizations.

Both partnerships for MacPac 9 are purchased as annual subscriptions and include the benefits offered by our Premium Support program. All first year partnerships require clients to take advantage of our on-site, hands-on technical training. Partnerships can be renewed in subsequent years with or without training.

Administrative Partnership

No programming knowledge is required to make most customizations in MacPac 9. About 85% of MacPac templates, including those in the Starter Pack, as well as specialized documents used by an organization, may be customized using the database and extensive boilerplate that come with MacPac 9.

For those who want to create and automate additional templates, including administrative forms, we provide the Template Architect, a development tool that facilitates codeless design and creation of sophisticated, MacPac-like templates.

Our Administrative Partnership provides training and support for creating templates and dialog boxes that utilize standard MacPac functions, such as Contact Integration, Author Information, Letterhead, and Delivery/Confidentiality Phrases.

Development Partnership

The MacPac 9 object model enables organizations with Visual Basic (VB) programmers to build their own template and macro package. Our Development Partnership includes advanced training for in-house developers. A TSG developer leads the final days of the training session.

MacPac 10 Partnerships

MacPac 10 is designed for 100% codeless customization and automatic distribution of customized content. The product administration and automation require no programming experience. All content design and automation is completed within MS Word, using the MacPac Content Manager and Document Designer interfaces. Non-content related development, configuration, and maintenance is managed in an administrative application.

Three Levels of Partnership Training and Support

TSG offers three optional partnership programs for clients who want to learn to automate and customize MacPac 10 and to receive support for in-house development. The three programs – Gold, Silver, and Bronze – offer differing levels of technical training and support. We help you choose the level that best fits your organization's development needs.

The Gold Partnership is designed for organizations requiring the most substantial training and support for in-house development, particularly with regard to document assembly. Organizations with more moderate development and maintenance needs, as well as those with less complex document assembly requirements, are advised to choose the Silver Partnership. The Bronze Partnership is designed for clients who want basic maintenance services and plan to implement some minimal content development. The training curriculum for Gold and Silver partners is similar, but is scaled according to the partnership level and varies in the number of training days.

All partnerships are purchased as annual subscriptions and include the benefits offered by our Premium Support program. All first year partnerships require our clients to take advantage of the on-site, hands-on training we offer. While Gold or Silver Partnerships can be renewed with or without training, Bronze Partnership training is included with the renewal and is provided on-line after the first year.
