You can purchase a whole suite, one or more templates, the Numbering Tool, or single macros, such as the Trailer/Document ID, at any time. Some organizations choose an "a la carte" approach to MacPac and start with the components they need most, rather than investing in an entire suite at the outset. The Numbering Tool, the Trailer/Document ID macro, the Letter template, and the Pleading template are favorite selections.

Numbering Tool
The MacPac Numbering Tool was developed as a modular add-on to the MacPac Suites and has become one of our most popular stand-alone products.
MacPac Numbering includes a set of public numbering schemes (styles). Users can insert and edit public schemes in a document, save private schemes, and share schemes with other users. MacPac administrators can create, edit, delete, and manage public schemes in-house.
Numbering schemes are accessible via shortcuts, toolbar, or ribbon. Schemes can be inserted, promoted, demoted, marked or unmarked for a table of contents (TOC); a TOC can be generated or updated; and different or multiple numbering schemes can be applied in the same document.
The Numbering Tool provides a simpler, more intuitive interface than MS Word's numbering interface, and it doesn't inherit native Word's numbering issues and limitations. MacPac Numbering gives users the ability to create and re-generate a table of contents without having to mark text and apply attributes to run-in headings automatically. Macros functions edit the scheme "on the fly" in seconds and a dynamic preview screen for editing schemes instantly shows the effect of the edits.
The Numbering Tool is compatible with Word 2010, 2007, 2003, 2002/XP, 2000, and 97.

Trailer/Document ID
The MacPac Trailer function integrates with most DMS (document management systems)*, and the MacPac administrator can configure the Trailer to include any DMS profile information automatically or as user options.
The MacPac administrator can also configure user options for document ID position and draft stamp, and choose whether the Trailer dialog is displayed or whether the Trailer is inserted automatically without prompting. Additional administrative options include Trailer trigger events, such as File Save, File SaveAs, File Open, File Print.
Users can run the Trailer macro at any time to change optional items such as draft/date/time or client/matter number, the location of the document ID in the document, or remove the Trailer.
